Hey,
Does anyone know what time the local bus would leave the Southern Bus Terminal to head in the Phuket direction? Last time I was on the bus it made stops along the way. I need to get off at Koh Lak and I haven't been able to find anyone or anything on the net to give me any idea.

I'm note sure of where that location is but as you mentioned Phuket.
Here are the "Transport Company bus timetable"
Bus departure times to Phuket. Prices start from 539 Baht.
VIP 24 seats depart Bangkok at 07:30, 17:30, 18:00, 18:30, 19:00.
VIP 32 seats depart Bangkok at 19:45.
1st class 40 seats depart Bangkok at 18:30.
2nd class 47 seats depart Bangkok at 06.00,15.00, 18.00, 05.00, 07.00, 09.30, 14.00,16.00,17.00, 20.00,21.30.
Please note all of these listed buses depart from New Southern Bus terminal in Thonburi.
If these buses pass by on the main road to Phuket then you could ask the driver to let you off at Koh Lak. If not get down at Phuket and take a local truck - bus back to Koh Lak.
