New SAI TAI MAI (southern bus terminal)Yes, the new terminal is MUCH better than the Sai Tai Mai at Pinklao. The move has reduced congestion all along Pinklao. The new terminal is more spacious and so much cleaner for sure! Security also seems to be more systematic in that there are several cameras located throughout the complex and also only passengers and authorized personnel are able to get to the gates. The guards seem to be enforcing this quite well. There's a large commercial area and food court, looks like more is going to be developed in the main terminal.
On the downside it has started to bring more traffic to the area, especially during peak hours, though only in the 2 outer lanes of Borom Rachachonanee adjacent to the terminal.
