Hey guys,

I'm passing an internship in Bankok BangMot near to the Hospital. Unfortunately, this is quiet far away from King Monkut's University where some of the other trainees are staying.
The last two weeks I tried to find out the fastest connection. Actually I'm taking the 68 Bus till some market place (sorry, I forgot the name) and then I change to Bus 175.
This takes about 1.5 -2 hours.
Now my question: Does anyone know a faster posibility
I thought of going on the highway to Bang Bon, then up to Bang Khae till Chim Phli and finally eastwards in dircection to Rama 7 Bridge.  Is there somewhere a express bus connection running over the highways?

I would be thankful for every answer. My actual connection through the city is really stressful.

Greetings

hello-sorry to disappoint you-but there are no real express BUSes over the outer ringroad. But as King Mongkut has so many different palces-I cannot really locate the one you describe.
There are minivans (rot tuar in Thai) shuttling-they go when full-from near Bang Mot hospital (I think mainly the big Central) to Bang Khae-Tesco and the market. But that will not help you very much.
Any ride by bus via there means you change more times-and I am not certain that will thus lead to less time in traffic.
Also: are you wiling to pay more for the AC and the minivans?
(it would go via: 146 to Mall/bang Khae-CROSS road-then 147 via ring road till it reaches the road along sai Thai busstation-then change into 174-AC only-runs via Central Pinklao (=NOT PATA)then turns left and follows 175/203 over the same bridge-but then goes to the Mochit, via BigC Wiong Sawan.
