By 11pm most of the intercity buses would have stopped for the night. You could wait it out at the terminal until 5am or go by taxi for 1500 baht. Make sure you negotiate the price of the taxi before you get in as some drivers will try to overcharge.
The only way to check is to head for the bus terminal at the airport and ask at the intercity counter near the far end. if its closed its highly likely there are no more buses for the day.
If you don't want to wait 6 hours at the terminal you could take bus 551 into the inner city and find a hotel for the night and take a bus from Ekkamai the next morning.
